How Much Bike Repair Experience Do You Have?

I have been working full-time in the professional cycle trade since 1994 – that’s over 30 years of hands-on experience. I’ve worked on everything from entry-level bikes to high-end carbon road bikes, electric bikes, and custom builds.

Bike Repairs Direct was established in September 2017 to offer cyclists in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch a dedicated mobile bike repair and servicing specialist.

No extra fitting charges on Premium or Premium Plus services!

For example: Book a Premium Service and need new brake pads? You only pay for the Premium Service (£125) plus the cost of brake pads (from £4.99).

Zero additional labour costs for any components needed during these services. This makes our Premium services exceptional value for money.

Every bike that comes to us receives a thorough inspection regardless of the service booked. We check frame integrity, component wear, brake safety, gear adjustment, wheel trueness, and overall bike condition.

Perfect if you’re unsure what work is needed, want an expert second opinion, or need to know if repair is economical. We explain everything clearly before proceeding with any paid work.

Absolutely. We are fully insured against loss and accidental damage. Our workshop is alarmed and secure with professional bike storage systems.

More importantly, I’m the sole mechanic – your bike is worked on exclusively by me, the business owner. I treat every customer’s bike with the same care as my own.

No payment until you’re satisfied! Payment is collected when your bike is delivered back and you’re happy with the work.

We Accept:

  • Cash
  • Bank Transfer (BACS)
  • Credit & Debit Cards (via online invoice pay button)

We never store card details. All transactions are PCI compliant and processed through secure banking systems (Stripe/PayPal).

All bike repairs and servicing work carries a 6-month warranty for normal use. This excludes damage from crashes, off-road abuse, or modifications after service.

New components fitted carry the manufacturer’s standard warranty (typically 2 years for Shimano, SRAM, etc). All parts are sourced from authorized UK trade suppliers.

You’ll receive a detailed invoice for all work completed, and we maintain digital records for future reference. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

We offer FREE collection and delivery to all locations within 12 miles of BH11, including:

Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Boscombe, Southbourne, Westbourne, Branksome, Parkstone, Canford Heath, Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Ferndown, West Moors, Verwood, Ringwood and surrounding Dorset areas.
